Medicos Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure The Hand Action Figure Review

The Hand is the stand of Okuyasu Nijimura from JJBA part V: Diamond Is Not Crash. With strength rivaling Josuke’s Crazy Diamond, The Hand is definitely a force to be reckoned with. The Hand has the unique ability to eliminate space with his right hand. This allows the stand to move closer towards objects or enemies by catching them off guard. Okuyasu has used this ability to move himself, allowing him to ‘teleport’ short distances.

articulation - The Hand has several points of articulation. It has double jointed knees/elbows, wrist/ankle articulation, waist/torso, ball jointed shoulders/hips and neck/head ball joints. similar to the other stands in this line, it has a bicep swivel that most of the stand users lack giving it more poseability. 

paint - The Hand’s paint apps are great. the figure has some smooth white paint apps, with a nice metallic blue contrast on the upper torso, shoulders and other parts of the figure. There are also hints of gold throughout the figure that make this figure one of the best figures of part V. i really dig the paints on this figure. This is probably my favorite stand of Diamond is not Crash!

detail and sculpt - The Hand’s character design is one of my fav. in the part V. I really like how it has the same symbols that are on Okuyasu’s uniform.

The headsculpt is amazing. i really like the “$” and Yen signs on the figure!

accessories - The Hand comes with less accessories compared to some of my other medicos stand figures:

• 7 hands
• comic word bubble
• medicos stand

price - The Hand is pretty pricey, ain’t gonna lie. I paid about $100 for this damn figure! But once you get him and Okuyasu together….it is def. worth it!!!

overall, The Hand is an excellent figure! He’s also one of the most sought out figures and he can cost be quite a bit. Hopefully with the release of the new Jojo anime, he will get a rerelease.

Medicos SAS Eisidisi figure review

Eisidisi, or ACDC, is one of the pillar men in the second story arc of Jojo’s bizarre adventure, Battle Tendency. Eisidisi along with Kars and Wammu are searching the for the Red Stone of Asia so they can be able to live in sunlight and gain true immortality. Only Joseph Joestar and Caesar Zeppeli can stop them. 

Eisidisi origins are shrouded in mystery but he and four others were found underground in Rome and have been around since 8,000 B.C. Eisidisi can get very emotional and cry but is also a skilled fighter and honorable warrior who as also around the famous strategist Sun Tzu. 

articulation - Eisidisi has the same articulation as Joseph. Meaning he has the much appreciated bicep swivel coupled with the additional shoulder swivel, giving his arms, a better range of motion. Great enough to recreate all those crazy Hirohiko Araki poses in the manga.

Its really great to be able to put Eisidisi in various poses, he even has toe articulation. The front skirt will hinder moving his legs up a bit, while the shoulder armor is fixed and hinders his arms from going all the way up.

paint - Eisidisi’s paint apps are very smooth. I really like the contrast of the orange and purple on his outfit. his skin tone has a nice dark wash showing his slender musculature more in his arms, legs and torso. All in all, the paint apps on Eisidisi are done extremely well. the stitching along his armor is painting in purple. One of medicos’ best figures so far.

detail and sculpt - There are lots of really nice details on this figure. On Eisidisi’s shoulder pads are six sculpted nails that have sculpted straps attached to his chest armor. Along most of the orange parts you can see sculpted stitching. 

The headsculpt is done very well. The sculptors where able to give him a very stern expression. Plus there are sculpted earrings and a nose ring too. 

Eisidisi’s frame is very slender, yet muscular. He has really long legs and arms and a small waist.

accessories - Eisidisi comes with a good amount of accessories:

• 4 pairs of hands
• alternate head
• “Blood Bomb” accessory

The alternate head and hands, give Eisidisi a dramatic change. His alternate head has a an open mouth with a giant horn in the center. There are sculpted bones exposed on the top of his head. 

His alternate hands have his blood vessels extended where he can use to puncture his victims and inject his hot blood into them.

The “Blood Bomb” can be attached to the peg hole of any SAS figure!

price - around $50 on Amiami.com when he came out. Expect this figure to go up if you have to get him secondhand. 

Overall, Eisidisi is fantastic. He comes with some cool accessories and I really like his alternate head! He has great articulation and I noticed he was much taller than Joseph in a side-by-side comparison:

I was a bit weary about picking up Eisidisi, or any of the other pillar men, because at first glance? They look a bit scantily clad! lol. 

But after you read the manga, bust Eisidisi out of the box, end up ALSO picking up Kars AND Wammu…you get over it pretty quickly.
