SHF gokai green figure review

here’s don/gokai green of the gokaigers! don is the inventer/doctor/cook aboard the gokai galleon and is probably the nicest of the bunch. IMO, him and gai are the comical duo for the group. gokai green was the first of the gokaiger bunch to get and i was extremely happy with the figure!

articulation - don doesn’t come with a stand, which is unfortunate, but he can be put in all kinds of neat poses! standard SHF articulation minus the die cast feet. other than that, he’s awesome! 

paint - his paint apps are great. plus his accessories are painted well, unlike shinken red’s. nice solid green and black plus his emblem is damn near perfect. (he had a little dust on him from being displayed.)

detail and sculpt - i really like the sculpt on the jacket and how it doesn’t interfere with any of the articulation. the collar/jacket and all the boot cuffs/sleeves are my favorite part of the sculpting. plus the detail on his gokaiger helmet are awesome!

accessories - don comes with a TON of accessories!!!!!

coolest accessory? navi.

price - got don for $45 online when he was first released. good thing? he’s not an exclusive like gokai pink and yellow, so he won’t break the bank too much!

i preordered him, joe and marvelous but the online store never got joe or marvelous in. O_o  don and gai are probably the cheapest and easiest to get as of now, so my hunt continues for the rest!!!

overall, gokai green is a great figure and a must have if you are planning on completing your gokaiger team! he’s got tons of accessories and is really fun to play/pose with!

SHF bunny action figure review

here’s barnaby brooks jr. aka bunny of the superhero duo team, tiger and bunny! having the same ‘hundred power’ as tiger, he protects the city of sternbild from bad guys while trying to figure out who killed his parents.

articulation - barnaby has the typical SHF articulation; double jointed elbows and knees, waist and torso articulation, shoulder, wrist, thigh, ankle, toe and head movement. he’s also got die cast feet so he’s pretty sturdy with no problems standing on his own. 

barnaby stands around 5.5 inches; fits nicely with 6 inch scaled figures.

paint - his paint apps are great. i especially like how the ‘bandai, crusade and amazon.co.jp’ logos are done! 

pink is pretty damn manly! you can see how detailed bunny’s logo is…

detail and sculpt - i totally love barnaby’s suit design. i don’t think words can really describe how awesome it looks!

his shoulder armor is on a separate hinge joint that can move up and down. this allows his ball-jointed shoulders to maintain full articulation!

accessories - barnaby comes with… 

…2 pairs of hands, an alt. arm cover w/ crusade logo on it, his tamashii stand and an alt. leg for his ‘good luck mode!!!’

the GLM leg is awesome; its huge, its got some great detailing and even some articulation!

did mention its huge!?!?

price - got him for $55.99 online. paid way less for him than for tiger *profoundsadface*

he can be pretty difficult to get but i was able to get him the second time around and not pay a high secondhand price. 

overall, bunny is a great figure and a great addition to your T&B collection. i started a bit late with collecting them so i paid heavy for tiger, but i’m preordering the rest to get ahead of the game and pay SRP on them. but even if you only get 2 figures from the anime; they HAVE to be barnaby and kotetsu!!!
